Ernst Kalmbach

Ernst Kalmbach 82 passed away Wednesday morning, January 4, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Temple with Pastor Ed Sears officiating. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Ernst was born in Romania on December 9, 1929 to Emanuel and Katharina Ruff Kalmbach. He was a machine operator for Elmhurst Dairy in New York. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Arnold Kalmbach. Surviving is his wife Edith Nunhofer Kalmbach of the home; one brother, Edmund Kalmbach of Delware; one sister Karin Paz and husband Carlos Fernandez-Paz also of Delware and a sister-in-law Elizabeth Kalmbach of Maryland. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Centers of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
