Ervin Elmer Kepley

Ervin Elmer Kepley age 95 passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at his home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Center United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Stephen Pillsbury officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Mr. Kepley was born in Davidson County on October 10, 1917 to Robert Baxter Kepley and Ada Lee Craver Kepley. He was owner operator of Welcome Drive - In and was a farmer. He was a member of Center United Methodist Church and served 21 years as a former Trustee Chairman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Paige Shoaf Kepley who died April 1, 2011, two brothers, Hubert and Eugene Kepley. He is survived by one son, Charles Kepley and wife Vickey of Welcome; two daughters, Molly Long and husband Steve of Welcome and Sue Mendenhall and husband Richard of Arcadia; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
