Esterlene Richardson 66, of West Center Street Extension departed on the blessed day of April 3, 2009.
A Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Willis Silver and burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
She was born September 16, 1942 in Warren County to Washington and Bertha Richardson Richardson and was proud that she grew up on a farm. She formerly worked for Dacotah Cotton Mill and was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Warren County. Her mother preceded her in death. She was the oldest of four siblings, Brothers; Bill Richardson and his wife Doris of Warrenton, NC, Willie Richardson of Lexington and Freeman Silver of Silver Spring Md, one sister, Maxine Silver and her husband Lewis of Arcola NC.
Ester leaves behind her fiancé of 28 years, Boyd Ashe of Lexington, her father Washington Richardson of Warrenton, NC; six children, Daughters, Sandra and her husband Everette (Tommy) Leonard of Oak Island, NC, Verlene Vires and husband Joey of Clemmons, Petrina Mullins of Lexington, Annette and her husband Billy Carroll of Lexington and Jamie Everhart of Lexington, one son, Quincy and his wife Richelle Richardson of York PA; seventeen Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family will see friends Tuesday night from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
