Esther Fishel Cash

Esther Fishel Cash, 93, of Sinkland Drive, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Grayson Creek Nursing Center. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, at Advent Moravian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Timothy Sapp officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. Mrs. Cash was born July 13, 1922, in Forsyth County, to Arthur Sanford Fishel and Lettie Myers Fishel. She was lovingly known to many as “Grandma Cash” and a member of Advent Moravian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Raymond Cash; and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are son, Terry Cash and wife Terri of Lexington; daughter, Tracey Cash Young of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
