Eston Craven

Our hearts are heavy as we share that Eston Egbert Craven III, age 62, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.

Eston was born on February 10, 1963, in Guilford County to Eston Egbert Craven Jr. and Nancy Ritter Craven. From the start, he brought laughter and kindness wherever he went. He was a devoted son and brother, and a friend to just about everyone who met him. Eston was a member of Calvary Raleigh Church and spent many years working as a salesman with La-Z-Boy before retiring.

A funeral service to celebrate Eston’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Reedy Creek Baptist Church, with Pastor David Frye officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Eston leaves behind his loving parents, Eston and Nancy Craven; his sisters, Alice Meeks (Gary) and Betty Perrell (Ward Jr.); his niece, Jessica Tilley; and three nephews, Ward Perrell III, Justin Paige, and Daniel Perrell, and a host of friends in Fuquay-Varina. His memory will live on through the many stories, smiles, and moments he shared with those who loved him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
