Ethel Black Berrier

Ethel Black Berrier, age 89, of Leonard Road, Lexington passed away at her home Thursday morning. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday (Jan. 1, 2012) at Beulah United Church of Christ with Rev. Gina Colorio officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Saturday night, Ethel was born in Davidson County, January 3, 1922 to Howard G. Black and Fannie Barfield Black. She was a retired Bookkeeper with the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company and a member of Beulah United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Glenn Berrier; brothers, Harry, Charles David and Billy Joe Black; and son in law William (Bill) Carroll. Surviving are; her daughter, Sherry Carroll of Lexington; two brothers, George (Wink) Black of Lexington and Roger Black of Kernersville.
