Ethel Perryman Hedrick, 94 of Hedrick Circle, Lexington died Friday May 23, 2008 at her home after a critical illness of two weeks. The funeral will be Sunday May 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Revs. Loretta Stutz and Jimmy Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hedrick was born in Davidson County, Midway, on April 30, 1914 to Willie I. Perryman and Crissie I.Della Leonard Perryman. She was retired from Burlington Furniture Industries and a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the church choir for years and a member of the United Methodist Women’s. Her husband, Cletus Harold Hedrick died on April 6, 1990 and son Richard Harold Hedrick; brothers, Raymond Perryman, Frank Perryman and half brothers, Hoyle Perryman, Arville Perryman,; sisters, Salle Lee Hedrick; Ellie Miller and half sister, Pearle Harding all preceded her in death.
Surviving are sons Ernest Hedrick and wife Arlene and Leroy Hedrick and wife Kathy all of Lexington; daughters, Mildred Brinkley and husband Howard of Welcome; Betty Marlene Shoaf and husband Lee Roy Lexington and Opal Jordan and husband Ben all of Canon, GA; 16 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren; 24 Great Great Grandchildren and sister, Alice Swicegood of Lexington
The family will receive friends from 6:00 TO 8:00 Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington, and at other times at the home.
