Ethel Johnson Kindley Hunt, 96, of Sunbridge Nursing Home of Lexington and formerly of Agner Lane, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at the nursing home.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Second Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Bea Edwards Copeland. Burial will be in Lexington City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hunt was born Nov. 27, 1909, in Davidson County to Allison William Johnson and Emma Jane Feezor Johnson. She was a retired sales employee for Belk of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Lester Kindley, and second husband, Edward S. Hunt Sr.
Surviving are two sons, James Victor Kindley and his wife, Betty, of Lexington, and Donald L. Hunt and his wife, Carolyn, of Colletsville; one daughter, Jean Brockmier of Lexington; one stepdaughter, Jean Plummer and her husband, Ray, of Lexington; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church parlor Wednesday 30 minutes before the service, and friends may register at Davidson Funeral Home Tuesday evening.
