Mrs. Ethel Warren Morgan, 92, of Lexington Health Care and formerly of Greensboro Street, Ext., died Saturday, December 3 at Lexington Health Care. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 5 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Sandy Young. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Monday prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Morgan was born April 10, 1919 in Caswell County to Tom and Lennie Dix Warren. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her husband, John “Tank” Morgan, preceded her in death, as well as her sisters, Frances Saunders, Blanche Davis, Myrtle London and her brother, James Warren. She is survived by her son, Donald Lee Morgan of Lexington; her daughters, Helen M. Hall of Columbia, NC, Mary Coleman and husband, Ken, and Margaret Jane McIntyre, both of Lexington; her brothers, Ralph Warren and wife, Marie, of Florida, and Yancey Warren and wife, Leona, of Reidsville, her grandchildren, Anna Hayes, Lisa H. Terrell, Roger Hall, Tim McIntyre, Shannon Black, Terry McIntyre, and Chris Morgan; and 12 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 202 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
