Ethel Josephine Causey Rush, age 71 of Maley Lane, Lexington died Sunday night in Thomasville Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel conducted by Rev. Johnny Henderson and Rev. Steven Chipps and burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rush was born in Horry County, South Carolina April 9, 1936 to William Franklin Pridgen, Sr. and Eva Jane Stroud Pridgen. She was a former employee of Thomasville Furniture Industries and retired from Winn Dixie Food Store on East Center Street. She
was preceded in death by her parents and a brother William F. Pridgen, Jr.
Survivors include: husband; Alson J. Rush of the home, Daughters; Kay C. Moffitt and husband Lawrence of Asheboro and Naomi Causey of Lexington, Son; Bobby Causey and wife Pam of Lexington, 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Daughters; Penny Camp and husband Randy and Pam Beamer and husband Richard all of Asheboro, 2 Step-Grandchildren, Sisters; Virgie Pauline Yow of Asheboro and Lorene Hepler of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel and at others times at the home of her son Bobby Causey, 175 Jarrell
Road, Lexington.
