Ettie Mae Dudney Brewer age 78 passed away Sunday night at Lexington Health Care. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 am at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Charles Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, January 13 from 6 to 8 pm.
Ettie was born in Columbus County on October 4, 1932 to the late Troy Francis Dudney and Louette Watts Dudney. She was homemaker and was also preceded in death by her husband Archie R. Brewer, five brothers, Emerson, Junior, Cecil, James “JB”, and Lloyd; two sisters, Virgie Little and Betty Rae Hedgepath and one son, Roger Brewer.
Surviving are four sons, Ricky Brewer of Winston-Salem, Gerald Brewer, Randall R. Brewer and wife Eleanor of Lexington and Tony Brewer of Erie, PA; two sisters, Elease Holder of Fayetteville and Shirley Butler and husband Edward of Chadbourn, NC; nine grandchildren, Christopher Brewer, Jeremy Power, Rana Brewer, Meredith Brewer Briley, Terry Wayne Brewer, Melissa Brewer, Erica Brewer, Brianna Brewer and Amber Brewer and seven great-grandchildren.
