Eugene George

God called Eugene “Gene” George, 89, of Frank Hulin Road, on Monday October 11, 2016, to his eternal home.   A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday November 5, 2016 at the home on Frank Hulin Road, with Rev Sherman Branch officiating services.   Mr. George was born April 18, 1927 in Forsyth County, to William Manuel George and     Becky Jane Tuttle George. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his wife Alice Lorrane Lingerfelt George; five brothers, Frank George, Rob George, Henry George, Ed George, and Hasten George; and four sisters, Beulah Reid, Irene Mahala, Becky Lookabill and Betty Jordan.   Surviving is one son; Ricky George of Raleigh NC; one daughter, Rhonda Walker and husband Fred, of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Sara Goins and Darrick Goins and wife Amy.   The family wishes to say a special thank you to special cousins, Gilda, Sherri and Gary Bivens.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
