Eugenia Robertson Rumley

  Eugenia Robertson Rumley 72 passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.   A funeral service will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel at 2:00 Sunday with Pastor Brian MaKray officiating.   A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.   Eugenia was born in Davidson County on January 18, 1944 to Turner Cicero Robertson and Laura Mae Michael Robertson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Tommy Robertson and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and was a legal secretary.   Surviving is her husband Richard Curtis Rumley of the home; one son, Richard Turner Rumley (April) of Lexington; a sister, Lana Turner Clinard (Lonnie) of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Jessica Ramirez, Kayla Rumley and Nathan Rumley; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Daube and Beckham Ramirez.   Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN  38101-9908.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Road is assisting the family.
