Eulalia Curry Hanes Scott, 90, of George Surratt Road, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Lexington Health Care.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery by Pastor Michael Greer.
Mrs. Scott was born Jan. 9, 1916, in Davidson County to Hollis Clayton Curry and Etta Mae Curry Curry. She was a homemaker and member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and also attended First Wesleyan Church of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oak Hanes; a daughter-in-law, Ruth G. Hanes in 1977; and a son-in-law, Jasper Queen in 1998.
Surviving are her son, Benny Hanes of Lexington; one daughter, Sonya Queen of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Eddie Dean Hanes and his wife, Linda, Tony Hanes, Damon Hanes, Tina Curry and her husband, Dallas, Vince Queen and his wife, Barb, Cenda Wooten and her husband, Jordan, and Ashley Coons and her husband, Jason; seven great-grandchildren, Scott, Tyler, Halen, Madison, Logan, Kendall and Brady; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
