Eunice Lubarsky

Eunice Lillian Lubarsky, 85, of White Street, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at her home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008, at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Jerry Lubarsky and Rabbi Kevin Stone. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lubarsky was born August 16, 1922, in Hamden County, Ma., to Jacob Zoosman and Sadie Shapiro Zoosman. She was a bus monitor for the Springfield, Ma., school system. Mrs. Lubarsky was of the Jewish faith. She was married to Edward Lubarsky who preceded him in death. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons. Surviving are sons, Robert Lubarsky and wife, Carol, of Massachusetts, and Gary Lubarsky and wife, Vanessa, of Lexington; daughter, Sandra Lawrence and husband, Frankie, of Lexington; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Zoosman; sisters, Agnes Shapiro, Shirley Hersh and Esther Greenburg, all of Massachusetts; and loving daughter-in-law, Denna Lubarsky. There will be no public viewing.
