Eva Wilson Cleland, age 94 of Brookstone Retirement Center formerly of Parkview Drive, Lexington, died Tuesday night at Brookstone.
Funeral Service 2:00 pm Thursday in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Clyde Akers. Burial will be in Good Shepherd
Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Florida.
Mrs. Cleland was born in Giles County, Virginia July 11, 1912 to Ross Windom Wilson and Anna Cecil Wilson. She was a retired Nurses Aid with Gile Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg, Virginia and a member of First Church of God in Ocala, Florida and attended Freedom Baptist Church in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Kyle O. Spangler, Sr. and Brooks Cleland, Sons; Donald Spangler, David Spangler and Kyle Spangler, Jr., brothers;
Edward, Cauldel and Marvin Wilson and a sister Beulah Payne.
Surviving are Sons: James Spangler of West Virginia and Larry Spangler of Florida, Sisters: Mae Harris and Agnes Horne both of Narrows, VA., 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
The Family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
The request of Mrs. Cleland was that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Hospice
