Eva Henderson

Mrs. Eva Jane Bird Henderson, 80, of St. Albans Court, died Saturday, November 6 at Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 8 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, by Dr. Doug Byrd. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home prior to the graveside service. Mrs. Henderson was born September 15, 1930 in Lizemoore, WV to Vernon and Nancy Jane Morris Bird. She was the former co-owner of Henderson Plumbing and of the Baptist faith. Her husband, Gerald Wayne Henderson, preceded her in death, as well as three brothers, and a sister. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Byrd and husband, Dee, of Lexington; her step-sons, David Henderson and Jeff Henderson, both of Spartanburg, SC; her step-daughter, Debbie Sherbert, also of Spartanburg, SC; her brothers, Nanmon Bird, Junior Bird, Calvin Bird, and Danny Bird, all of West Virginia; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
