Eva Lorene Pridgen Hepler, age 71 of Russell Street, Lexington died Monday, September 14, 2009 at her home after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, Sepember 17, 2009 at Leonard Road Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hepler was born, March 10, 1938 in Conway, SC to William “Bill” Pridgen and Eva Jane Stoud Pridgen. A member of Leonard Road Baptist Church, she was an employee of Alpha II. She had an unconditional love for everyone she came in contact with. She was preceded in death by a sister, Josphine Rush and a brother, Tommy Pridgen.
Surviving her are her husband, James (JD) David Hepler of the home, daughters, Sherry Lynch and husband, Jack of Hallister, NC, Nancy Mills and husband, George, Becky Jones and husband, Lynn all of Lexington, Melissa Dorsett of Clemmons, Burna Edwards and husband, Ken of Southmont, Sharen Reid and husband, Alan of Rural Hall, 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:oo pm Wednesday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home.
