Evan Greene

William Evan Greene, 29, of Grimes Circle, died Thursday, November 22, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 4pm Wednesday, November 28 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Eric Disher and  Pastor Courtney Crowson.

The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30pm Wednesday prior to the funeral service.

Evan was born April 7, 1989 in Davidson County to Timothy Evan Grubb and Kristie Wagner Swing.  He attended Central Davidson High School and was a landscaper.  He was outgoing and loved water sports.  He also enjoyed drawing and tattoos.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Evan Grubb, and his step-brother, Jessie Lee Roach.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Scott Swing, of Winston Salem; his adoptive father, Scott Greene of Southmont; his father of Mississippi; his grandparents, Joyce and Don Roach, and Johnny Ray Wagner, all of Lexington, and Gretta Grubb of Thomasville, his aunt, Shannon Ray Wagner of Lexington, and his cousin, Nathan Wagner of Lexington.
