Evelyn Poole Finney

Evelyn Joyce Poole Finney of Winston Salem NC passed away Tuesday November 4, 2025, at Atrium Health Baptist Medical Center. At her request no services will be held.

Mrs. Finney was born March 9, 1949 in Davidson County to Jesse Franklin Poole and Mary Ella Schaffer Poole. She retired after working many years in the cafeteria at Midway Elementary School. Her parents along with her husband, Bobby Lee Finney, all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children: Janet Beasley (Randy) of Winston Salem, Patrick Laws (Sandra) of Lexington, and Dana Darnell (Jeff) of Midway. Also surviving Eight Grandchildren and Fifteen Great Grandchildren. A brother Pat Poole and sisters, Margaret Marshall, Barbara Poole and Linda McCrary.
