Evelyn Lee

Mrs. Evelyn Winkler Lee, 89, formerly of Echoview Circle, died Wednesday, November 26 at Alston Brook of Lexington. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, December 6 at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Frankie Matthews. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Mrs. Lee was born April 18, 1925 in Todd, NC to Rev. H. M. Winkler and Fannie Long Winkler. She retired from Mid-State Tile and was a longtime member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. Her husband, Fred Lee, her son, Barry Thomas Lee, and her great grandchildren, Jenna Huffman and Jocelyn Lee, preceded her in death. She is survived by her grandchildren, Tracie Huffman of Lexington, and Shane Lee of Louisburg; her great-grandchildren, Cara Lee and J.T. Huffman, both of Lexington, and Trey Lee, Nathan Lee, and Asher Lee, all of Louisburg; and her great-great grandson, Rylan Burges.
