Evelyn Lee Goforth Robertson

Evelyn Lee Goforth Robertson, 91 of Lexington, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her home.

A private celebration of life service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Evelyn was born on April 22, 1929 in Wilkes County to Commodore Dewey Goforth and Mae Shell Goforth.  She took pride in raising her children and taking care of her home.  Evelyn enjoyed fishing and going to the beach and living on the lake.  She loved her children and her grandchildren and she will be missed and memories of her cherished by her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Winfred Odell Robertson.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Winfred Robertson and wife Dawn of Kernersville; daughter, Tanya Tysinger and husband Tracy of Lexington; five grandchildren, Mike Robertson and wife Dawn, Heath Robertson and wife LeeAnn, Christy Romeo, Angie Smith and husband Matt, Joshua Tysinger; 10 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Jean Goforth of Winston-Salem;
