Evva Clodfelter Zimmerman

Evva Mae Clodfelter Zimmerman age 101 passed away Sunday April 23, 2023 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 pm Friday April 28, 2023, at Mt Olivet United Methodist Church where she was the oldest member, conducted by Rev. Sandra Ireson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born June 5, 1921, in Davidson County to the late Carl William Clodfelter and Lucy Odell Willard Clodfelter. She retired from Hanes Brands and attended High Point Business College.

Her husband, Elwood  Zimmerman and a daughter, Donna Faye Speaks preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her brothers, Farrell Clodfelter and Norman Clodfelter and a sister, Doris Long

Surviving are her son Larry  Zimmerman (Ponzi) of Lexington. Her brother, Leland Clodfelter (Hilda) of Winston Salem and her sister Jean Hunt of Lexington. Also surviving are her granddaughter, Tiffany Draughn (Dale) of Lexington.
