Farris Rhumelle Lee

Farris Rhumelle Beard Lee age 84 of Winston Salem passed away Tuesday, November 1 ^st with family by her side.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Lee was born April 23 ^rd , 1938, in Cumberland County to James Beard and Jessie Pearl Williams Beard. She retired from Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Farris enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Kelly Averitt Jr., her parents, daughter, Diana Lynne Behealer, and brother, Jimmy Beard.

Surviving are her daughter; Janine Averitt Mitchell (Willie), son; Darrell Neal Averitt (Penny), sister; Bobbie Lee Thibault, grandchildren; Tabitha, Jerri (Gavin), Kenny (Cheryl), Ryan (Crystal), Brad (Brittany), Keith (Jenn), and Greg, great grandchildren; Kelly (Corey), Ashlynne, Kelsey, Grayson, Oakley, Easton, Luke, Alex, William, and Charlotte. Also surviving are great-great grandchildren; Kai, Skylan, GiGi, and Anderson.
