Faye Edwards Barnes

Faye Edwards Barnes, 90, of Hampton Street in Lexington, passed away Tuesday November 4, 2025 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Walser officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barnes was born July 20, 1935 in Dickinson County Virginia to Marion Arthur Edwards and Lydia Katherine Edwards. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Elizabeth Byerly and Hazel Owens.

Surviving are two sons, Bobby Barnes (Peggy) and James Barnes both of Lexington; three daughters; Donna Workman of Lexington, Catherine Beck of Lexington and Edna Casolo (Joesph) of Lexington; three brothers, Junior Edwards (Cricket) of Lexington, Kenneth Edwards of Lexington and Estel Edwards (Gail) of Lexington; sister, Gloria Morrison (Jerry), 6 grandchildren, Christy Pierce (Jeremy), Patrick Pierce, Tiffany Spiegel (Josh), Christopher Barnes, Misty Henderson (Drek) and Tabitha Ramirez (Robert) and her fur baby Bandit.
