Faye Lankford Holman, 94, of White Street, Lexington passed away Friday at Lexington Health Care.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Dr. Keith Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 1:00 until 3:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service and at other times at the home of a son Roy Holman, 1435 Young Road, Lexington, NC.
Faye was born in Wilkes County, December 20, 1919 to Jessie Martin and Sarah Elizabeth Adams Lankford. She was of the Baptist faith; and a former seamstress with Siceloff Mfg.
She enjoyed sewing and loved flowers, especially roses. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer Wilson Holman in 1994; sisters, Banie Brown and Dare Lankford; brothers, Howard, Palmer, Ken, Charlie and Cansue Lankford.
Surviving are a daughter; Janet Holman Miller (Jimmy) of Rockwell; sons, Roy Holman (Betty Sue) of Lexington and Roger Holman (Barbara) of Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Mimi Holman Harbeck (Dana) of Thomasville, Chad Holman of Atlanta, GA, Roy “Marty” Holman, Jr. (Gina) Raleigh, Deneen Bonner (Randy) and Cleve Holman all of Sumter, SC, Timothy Stewart (Kim) and Lisa Herring (Tommy) all of Rockwell; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Karli Shoaf of Thomasville, Maggie and Lacie Holman of Raleigh, Nicholas and Mattie Kay Bonner of Sumter, SC; brother, Clifford Lankford of Ronda.
