Faye Cartrette Howell

Faye Howell, age 66 of North NC Highway 150, Lexington passed away Monday morning at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Sellers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday night. Faye was born in Columbus County, NC February 13, 1948 to Daniel and Beulah Powell Cartrette. She was a homemaker most of her life but had worked several years for Britthaven of Davidson Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Geneva Hill; brothers, Jim, John, James, George, Elbert, Donald and Robert Cartrette. She is survived by her husband, Harold W. Howell of the home; daughter, Janice York (Brian) of Lexington; sons, Bobby Howell (Janet) and Johnny Howell all of Lexington; grandchildren, Johnny Howell, Jr., Ashland Nicole and Summer Nicole York; brothers, Ben Cartrette of Pulaski, VA., Auburn and Sam Cartrette both of Lexington.
