Faynetta Bates Garrett, age 66 of Winston Salem passed away January 26, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Faynetta was born July 20, 1946 in Davidson County to Chester A. Bates and Esther Mae Everhart Bates. She retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. At the request of the decedent there will be no memorial service.
