Felice Goulet Godin

Felice Goulet Godin, 86, of Somerset Court, died Monday, July 5, 2010, at her home, following a three week illness. A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Al Gondek officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the Parish Hall, 711, South Main Street, and other times at the home of Jim and Jennifer Cayer on Allred Road. Mrs. Godin was born October 22, 1923, in Worcester, Ma., to Anthony E. Goulet and Olivette LaForet Goulet. She was a homemaker and attended Holy Family Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leon Godin, who died in 1997; brothers, Paul Goulet and Robert Goulet; and a sister, Joyce Goulet. Surviving are son, Richard Godin and wife, Aubry, of Advance; daughters, Pauline Cayer and friend, Gina Adams, of Mocksville; and Lucille Dean and husband, Robert, of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren, Leo Dulude, Tina Silliboy, Patricia Silliboy, Tracie Speight, Christopher Ginese, Karen Parrish, Tabetha Cayer, James Cayer III, Frank Godin and Felice Schuerman; 27 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Ann Bealand and husband, Jim, of Oakham, Ma.
