Fendall Gochenour Sink, 96, of Sink Farm Road, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at his home.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, where he was a member, by Pastor Howard Baker.
Mr. Sink was born October 7, 1911, in Davidson County, to Joseph Jenkins Sink and RKZ Gentle Sink. He was a self employed carpenter and a member of the carpenter’s union. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Long Sink.
Surviving are a son, John Thomas Sink and wife, Barbara, of Tyro; daughter, Jane Snider and husband, Roger, of Lexington; grandchildren, William Fendall Sink and wife, Dianne, Roger Todd Snider and Gregory Scott Snider and wife, Wynn; great-grandchildren, Anna Rose Sink, Haley Sink, Bradley Snider, Caroline Snider, Caleb Snider and Kyle Snider; and step-grandchildren, Sean Epley and Courtney Everhart.
The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home on Sink Farm Road.
