Fern Warfford

Fern Snyder Warfford, 74, of Linwood-Southmont Rd, died Saturday, June 6 at Thomasville Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, June 9 at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, by the Revs. Billy Pearson and Freddie Moretz.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Mrs. Warfford was born September 6, 1945 in Stanly County to Dewey and Sadie Varner Snyder.  She retired from Kmart and later worked for Walmart.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Lexington.  Her husband, Kenneth “Hicker Nut” Warfford, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Warfford of Lexington; her sister, Rena Swain and husband, Harrel, of Burlington; her sister-in-law, Nancy Gossard and husband, Jerry, of Kernersville; and several special cousins.
