Finley Price

Finley Price passed away on November 9th after a three and a half year battle with cancer. Finley was born to parents Dave and Theresa on January 2, 2018 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Finley was an intelligent, brave, thoughtful, creative, and determined little girl. She was known by those that loved her as outgoing, silly, and energetic. Finley loved Jesus, her family, school community, and church. She most enjoyed playing with her sister, cousins and friends, swimming, reading, singing, dancing, cooking in her kitchen, playing her violin and creating with stickers. Finley loved the color red, baby dolls, and anything Frozen.

Despite all of the hardships she endured in her short life her sweet, loving spirit would always shine through. She made many friends along her journey including physicians, nurses and other cancer patients. Even when she could no longer lift her head and talk she was still blessing us with her beautiful smile.

Finley is survived by her loving parents, Dave and Theresa, her sister, Vivian. Finley also leaves behind her maternal grandparents Dr. David and Mary Ellen Barker of Shelby, paternal grandfather Dr. Thomas Price of Eden, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The wake will be held Sunday, November 26th from 4-6 pm with a funeral Mass Monday, November 27th at 11 am. Both to be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Winston-Salem. A graveside ceremony will be immediately following the mass at Westlawn Cemetery in Clemmons. All are welcome.
