Fletcher Alan Hicks

April 4, 1965 — May 18, 2021

Fletcher Alan Hicks, 56, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Hicks was born in Forsyth County on April 4, 1965 to Walter Alan Hicks and Freya Gay Johnson Hicks. He was a retired correctional captain, having worked for the Department of Public Safety and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cheryl Rae Prather Hicks of the home; his son, Hunter Alan McInnis Malloy Prather Hicks of the home; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Von Hofen (Kevin) and Katherine Jean Hicks all of PA; a sister, April Hicks Sharpe of Statesville; two grandsons; and a host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
