Flo Grant Hamm

Flo Evelyn Grant Hamm, age 89 of Burgess Street Lexington passed away Friday morning January 24, 2020 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday January 29, 2020 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday night.

Flo was born in Randolph County, NC on December 7, 1930 to William Walter Grant and Bertha Mae Ammons Grant. She was a retired employee of Acme Face Veneer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen Walter Hamm; brothers, Paul, Royal, Frank, Mack and Howard Grant.

Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Williams (Ronald) and Judy Johnson all of Wilmington, Wanda Floyd and Charlene Kidd (Charles) all of Lexington;  grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Donny, Christy, Jennifer, Beverly, Chasiti and Jessica; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Grant (Joyce) of Lexington; sister, Ruth Hamm of Lexington.
