Flora Lacoste Reynolds

Flora LaCoste Reynolds, 72 of Bethany Church Road passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Oak Forest United Methodist Church with the Rev. JacquelineTookey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Darlington County, South Carolina on August 5, 1936 to William Theodore LaCoste and Ruby Mozingo LaCoste. She was a graduate of Furman University and former educator. Mrs. Reynolds received her Masters in Library Science from UNC-Greensboro in 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband George Anthony Reynolds who died on February 18, 2003. She was a devoted wife, mother and memaw and a member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons, George Anthony Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Alison of Clemson, SC; David LaCoste Reynolds and his wife Donna of Greensboro; Warren Sheldon Reynolds and his wife Rita of Salisbury. Two brothers, William Edward LaCoste and his wife Pat of Greenwood, SC and James Miller LaCoste and his wife Carolyn of Bishopville, SC; ten grandchildren, Warren Sheldon Reynolds, II, Bradley David Reynolds, Amanda Kate Reynolds, Andrew Wilburn Reynolds, John Anthony Reynolds, Neill Carter Reynolds, Nicole LaCoste Reynolds, William Anthony Reynolds, Samuel James Reynolds, Azilee Caroline Reynolds. Memorials may be made to Oak Forest United Methodist Church, 11461 Old US Hwy 52, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 and or Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, Hwy 154, St. Charles, SC 29010. A visitation will be held Friday, December 26, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
