Florence Lowe Belt

Florence Lowe Belt, 97, of Lexington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her home.

A Graveside Service will be 3:00 pm Wednesday April 28, 2021 at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery conducted by Pastor Allen Paschal

Mrs. Belt was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee on June 24, 1923 to John Leslie Lowe and Mary Peters Lowe. She was married to the late James O. Belt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Dennis Belt; four brothers, Bill Lowe, Ralph Lowe, Tod Lowe and Harold Lowe; and her sister, Bea Lockner.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Michael Belt (Patsy) of Tennessee; daughter, Karen Britt of Lexington; brother, Lloyd Lowe; five grandchildren, Jeff, Jason, Emily, Monica and Jessica; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
