Florence Tutterrow Broadway, 85, of Virginia Drive, went home to be with her Savior on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Alliance Church in Lexington, where she was a member, by the Revs. John Brokopp and Paul Titus. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Broadway was born Nov. 12, 1920, in Iredell County to Burchard and Alice Vanhoy Tutterrow. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was retired from Frank Ix and Sons after 35-plus years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse Broadway, who died May 6, 1985; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda Broadway Miller and her husband, Jerry, and Vivian Broadway of Lexington; one granddaughter, Tabatha Daley and her husband, Jimmy, of Lexington; one great-granddaughter, Felicia Daley of Lexington; and one brother, Gene Tutterrow of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the home.
