Florence Faye Kearns

Florence Faye Everhart Kearns, 90, of Lexington, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 24, 2023.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 28, 2023, at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Pastor Janet Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service in the Family Life Center.

Mrs. Kearns was born March 31, 1933, in Davidson County to Mr. Grady Odell Everhart and Mrs. Ellen Beck Everhart. She was very dedicated to her church and family and was loved dearly by everyone she knew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Donley; second husband, Jack Kearns; two brothers, Rondall Everhart and Jimmy Everhart; and one sister, Edna Mae Weisner.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Ronnie Dale Donley (Pat) of Greenville and Joel Kearns of Florida; three daughters, Linda Taylor (Eric) of Lexington, Janet Gray of Lexington, and Martha Kearns Potter (Bryan) of Lexington; one brother, Charles Everhart (Sue) of Lexington; two sisters, Lois Townsend of Lexington and Brenda Flowers (Dave) of Lexington; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethesda United Methodist Church.
