Mrs. Florence Marble Latham, 79 of Welcome, went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 22, 2010 at her home. A memorial service will be 4:00 pm Wednesday May 26, 2010 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the family life center, other times at the home. Mrs. Latham was born May 19, 1931 in Jacksonville Alabama to Ferdie H. Marble & Maudie Holden Marble. She was retired from Lucent, a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and active in the friendship circle, open door class, a member of the class of 1950 Lexington Senior High. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Edward Latham. She is survived by her daughters; Jeanna Dellinger and husband Gary, Jamela Everhart and husband John. grandchildren; Mitch Dellinger and wife Amanda, Jake Dellinger and wife Melissa, Zac Everhart and wife Sarah. Great grandchildren; Brooks, Beau and Kelsey Dellinger. Brothers; Charles Marble and wife Delores, Jack Marble and special friend Rossine Weisner. sister inlaw; Susie Latham Reynolds and husband Floyd. The family would like memorials to be directed to: Bethesda United Methodist Church 2922 Bethesda Road, Lexington, NC 27295 or Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292 The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Tom Grote, his staff, the 9th floor angels at Forsyth Medical Center and Austin Brook. Also Mother’s Drs. and friends Dr. Edward G. Hill and Dr. Kim Ragsdale. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for always being there for her. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
