Forrest Wade Holmes

Forrest Wade Holmes age 49, of Salisbury passed away Friday November 4, 2011 at his residence. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday November 9, 2011 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Greene. The family will recieve friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday November 8, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Forrest was born August 8, 1962 in Davidson County to Tommie Wade Holmes and Darlene Kinney Holmes. A member of New Testament Baptist Church. He was formerly employed with The NC Dept. of Corrections and Freightliner. He was preceded in death by his brother; Roger Lee Holmes. Surviving are his parents Tommie Wade Holmes & Darlene Kinney Holmes of Lexington, his sister; Bridget King of Wilkesboro, his nieces; Stephanie Serritella (Vincent) of Baltimore, MD and Christine Klein (Brian) of Lexington, his nephew; Robert Owen Jr. (Anna) of Lexington, his great niece; Angel Marie Klein of Lexington. The family would like for memorials to be sent to the donors choice. Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the Holmes family.
