Forrest Yates

Forrest Harrison Yates, age 73, of Lexington passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Liberty Commons in Salisbury.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Danny Leonard officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service.   Mr. Yates was born in Davidson County on November 13, 1944. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosea Dale Jacobs Yates.   Surviving are his two sons, Rodney Yates (Lynette) of Salisbury and Mike Yates (Penny) of Linwood; his sister, Janie Kirkus of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Caleb, Hunter, Nathan, and Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews.   Memorials may be directed to the Michael J.
