Foy Myers Mcmahan

Foy Myers McMahan, 76, of Dykers Creek Road, died Friday, March 01, 2013, at his home following one year of declining health. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a member, with the Revs. J.C. Miles and Wayne Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. McMahan was born March 28, 1936, in Davidson County, to Elmer Leon McMahan and Nona Myers McMahan. He was owner/operator of McMahan Septic Tank Service. At his church he served as an usher and a board member. Surviving are his loving wife, Dorothy “Dot” Daniels McMahan, of the home; sons, Bobby McMahan and wife Ann, and Brett McMahan and wife Tammy, all of Lexington; daughter, Kathy Whitman and husband Terry of Lexington; nine grandchildren; brother, Odell McMahan and wife Iva of Lexington; and sisters, Joyce Hanes and husband Larry of Lexington and Jane Sink and husband Leroy of Salisbury.
