Frances Bowers Biesecker, 86 of Hampton St., Lexington passed away Tuesday November 4th at the Hinkle Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be Friday November 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Titus officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 PM Friday prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home.
Frances was born in Davidson County on December 26, 1927 to Luther Allen Bowers and Fannie Belle Swing Bowers. She was a member of First Alliance Church. She was retired from Hanes Sara Lee. A plaque was presented to her for having been employed and retired with honor from active employment as Quality Control Technician. She was past President and member of American Legion Post 8 and a charter member of the Amvet Post 13 and past member of the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jerry Biesecker, son Jerry Darrell Biesecker, sisters Dot Hanes, Ruby Smith, Elaine Hedrick, Wilma Crotts, Alene Crotts and Geneva Everhart and brothers, Bobby Bowers, Banks Bowers, June Swing, Foy Bowers, Cliff Bowers and Homer Bowers.
Surviving are daughters, Carolyn Temple (Steve) and Bonnie Biesecker all of Lexington, grandchildren Chad Staley (Charlene), Stephanie Errington (Richard), GeorJeana McGee (Jeff), great grandchildren Caitlin Staley, Jalyn McGee, Braven Errington, Jace McGee and Zeb Errington.
A special thanks to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved them with all her heart.
