Frances Biesecker

Frances Carrick Biesecker, 95, of Sunbridge of Lexington and formerly of Primrose Lane, died Sunday morning, Sept. 23, 2007, in Sunbridge. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Frankie Matthews. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Biesecker was born in Davidson County on June 15, 1912, to Jesse J. Carrick and Della Gallimore Carrick. She was a homemaker and a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie G. Biesecker; brothers Jesse, Jack, Calvin and Bryce Carrick; and sisters Betty C. Swicegood and Pauline C. Davis. Surviving are a son, Charles "Bobby" Biesecker and his wife, Dorcas, of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Jean Biesecker Brown and her husband, J. Lewis Brown, of Lexington; six grandchildren, Lisa Samuel and her husband, Joe, of Wilkesboro, Larry Brown and his wife, Kim, Janet Monk and her husband, Rick, and Lynda Currier and her husband, Joey, all of Lexington, Tammy Wall and her husband, Keith, and Addison Biesecker and his wife, Angie, all of Midway; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and at other times at the home of Jean and Lewis Brown, 213 Primrose Lane.
