Frances Blum Frances Burgess Blum 87 of Weaver Road, Lexington passed away Saturday March 28, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday April 2, 2015 at Light House Baptist Church where she was a member conducted by Pastor Avery Varnadore and Pastor Randy Burgess. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2pm prior to the service and at other times at the home. Mrs. Blum was born June 22, 1927 in Union County S. Carolina to John and Earline Horne Burgess. She was retired from Klopman Mills. Her parents, husband Russell Duane Blum and a son, Glen Edward Blum all preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons, Bruce Blum and Mark Blum (Wendy) of Welcome. Her daughter in law, Janice Watson Blum of Welcome. Grandchildren: Jamie Blum Clark (Eric) and Sara Blum of Welcome Great Grandchildren: Alaina Grace Clark and Evelyn Audrey Clark . Her brother, Lloyd Burgess (Diane) and sisters, Dorothy Mae DuPre, Ada Turner and Terri Radford Childress (Roger) all of Jonesville S. Carolina.
