Frances Elaine Cherry

Frances Elaine Cherry, 63, of Walnut Road, Lexington died Jan. 18, 2014 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Titus officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Elaine was born August 20, 1950 in Whiteville, NC to Frank Curtis Cherry, Sr. and Grace Margaret Jenkins Cherry. She was a Registered Nurse for Brian Center Nursing Home and was a Seventh Day Adventist. Surviving are a son, George Dewey Morgan, Jr. of Lexington; two daughters, Charlene Morgan Staley (Chad) of Lexington, Kristen Joy Sypolt (Joshua) of Colorado; four grandchildren, Caitlin Nicole Staley, Nadiya Anastasia Morgan, Nikoli Anthony Morgan, Tobias Malachi Morgan; two brothers, Charles Cherry (Kay) of Arlington, TX, and Frank Cherry (Carolyn) of New Mexico.
