Frances Ann Milam Craver

Frances Ann Milam Craver 83, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in Abbotts Creek Care & Rehabilitation in Lexington after a serious illness of two weeks. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church where she was a member with the Rev. Doug McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Mrs. Craver was born in Danville, VA on September 16, 1925 to Albert Johnson Milam and Rebecca Monkus Milam. She was retired from Henry Link Furniture. Her parents and husband, Julius Columbus Craver, son, Daniel Lee Craver and brother, Homer Lee Milam, Sr. preceded her in death. Surviving are son, Ray Craver and wife Sylvia; daughters, Darlene Chaffin and husband Bill and Becky Bennett and husband Glenn all of Lexington; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; daughter in law Carol Eggleston Craver; brothers Albert (Bert) Milam and wife Janie and sisters, Nannie Perdue and Myrtle Loman all of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
