Frances "Elaine" Hege Weaver

Frances (Elaine) Hege Weaver, age 65 of Friendship Church Rd., Lexington died Wednesday at her home after one year of declining health. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 2, 2009 at Good Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Weaver was born March 30, 1943 in Davidson county to Grady Lee Hege, Sr. and Zella Myers Hege. A homemaker, she was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church. She was well known for her love of sewing. Preceding her in death was her father, and a brother, Grady Lee Hege, Jr. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Bernie Ardell Weaver, Sr. of the home, a son Ardell Weaver, Jr. of Lexington, two daughters, Sherri W. Shoaf and husband, Kerry, Debbie W. Pickett and husband, Joey all of Lexington, four grandchildren, Nicole Yokeley, Tricia Yokeley, Jesse Shoaf,, Zachary Pickett and one great grandchild, Landon Yokeley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home. Memorial may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O.
