Frances Aileen Everhart, 92, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at Abbotts Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation in Lexington.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at New Jerusalem Reformed Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Tony Varner officiating the service. The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday night, at Davidson Funeral Home, and other times at the home on Willowmore Springs Rd., Lexington, and burial will follow in the New Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery.
Frances was born August 26, 1932, in Davidson County, to Arthur Everhart and Vernell Clodfelter Everhart. Frances enjoyed spending time with her sisters and coloring pictures of flowers. She was retired from the Army Navy Store. Her passion was her faith, church, family and especially her grandchildren. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bryce Moisse Hedrick, sisters, Ruth Lord and husband Hostell, Sandra Whicker, and brother Bobby Everhart and wife Loretta.
Left to cherish her memories are son, Milton Hedrick and wife Sheila, grandson, Matthew Hedrick and girlfriend, Maison Lounsbury, granddaughter, Emily Hulin and husband Christopher, great-grandchildren Miranda Hulin, Ruby Hulin, Jacob Hulin, sisters, Iris Brown and husband Johnny, Judy Smith and husband Roger, Linda Hunt, Brother, Garland “Buck” Everhart and wife Phyllis, brother-in-law, James Hunt and Wren Whicker. Also surviving are her special friends, Pat Robbins, and William Surratt. Numerous nephews and nieces who were all very special to her.
