Frances "Elaine" Glascoe

Frances "Elaine" Harvey Glascoe, age 76, of Riverview Rd Ext in Lexington, peacefully passed away on May 13, 2024, in the early morning hours. She was born in Surry County on April 22, 1948, to the late Arvil "AJ" Johnson Harvey Sr. and Gladys Bernice Creed Harvey. Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Monroe Glascoe.

Elaine dedicated many years of her life to Western Electric. She was a loving and devoted mother to her daugher, Jennifer Carter and husband Mark along with a blended family including Tony Glascoe and wife Karen, and Kay Littlejohn.

Elaine was also preceded in death by her parents, Arvil Sr. and Gladys. She leaves behind a family that adored her, including her brothers Arvil Harvey Jr. and wife Tammy, and John Harvey and partner Cindy, and many cousins and extended family.

She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Tiffany Kidd, Ryan Hester and wife Destiny, Cody Carter, Kelly St. Clair, and Heather Distler; as well as her great-grandchildren: Dante, Lexis, Jaxson, Charlotte, and Ocean.

A visitation to honor Elaine's life will be held on Monday, May 20th, from 6-8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home - Lexington with a service on Tuesday, May 21st, at 11 am, followed by a committal service at Forest Hill officiated by Pastor John Bishop.
